The staff were all kind and considerate. They carried out all our wishes precisely. As I was quite a long way away it was very important to me that I could make contact easily at any time. Everyone who attended the cremation were most appreciative.

My wife and I made funeral arrangements through yourselves as you were recommended to us. We were not disappointed the advice and service were really exceptional. Geoff, Mandy and the team at Goolds are beyond excellent in their professionalism. Mandy has immense empathy and we felt wrapped in a warm hug throughout the whole process. Excellent service from Goolds with Roy in particular being very good to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, advice & guidance was good & Roy always got back to us quickly when we had questions. The funeral itself could not be faulted & Goolds were excellent on the day making a difficult day more bearable without worry. Roy was very good at making the whole process of the arrangements feel personal to us.

When my Mum passed away I was completely heartbroken. I wanted to find a funeral director who I could trust and the nursing home suggested G&M Goold. The service we received was excellent. I felt Mum was in safe hands.
From the first phone call with Debbie I felt reassured. We went to meet Debbie to arrange the funeral and I was so nervous and emotional but it didn’t matter, Debbie quickly put me at ease and listened intently to my thoughts and gently steered me through the decisions I had to make. I left feeling confident that Mum’s funeral would be a perfect.
On the day Debbie and the staff were wonderful with me. The floral tribute was absolutely beautiful and on such a sad day, I felt happy that Mum received the send off she deserved with a service tailored completely to our wishes.
Jane Sturgeon, the funeral celebrant, was outstanding in every way.

Clearly a caring and compassionate firm. I was made to feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door to arrange my mum‘s funeral. It’s very difficult to put in words how good these people are. They just are.
